Let me tell you a little bit about this gentle and soothing modality. Havening is a neuroscience-based psycho-sensory approach using touch and pleasant distraction to rapidly change the landscape of your brain.
Imagine being able to use this simple self-soothing tool and eliminate upsets in your life. All of these feelings are associated with trauma, stress and anxiety, depression, and fears that can be holding you back and weighing you down.
This neuroscience-based approach can alter thoughts, moods, and behaviours rapidly and permanently. It releases happy chemicals such as oxytocin, serotonin, and GABA in the brain along with Delta waves so you can feel calm and heal from within.

My Compassionate Approach
Sometimes in life, we need someone to walk alongside us so working with a Certified Havening Practitioner like myself can help you to get to the root cause of issues, and support you with trauma or deep-seated upset.
Trauma doesn't have to be a dreadful life event; it can be smaller things like being bullied at school, or humiliated by a teacher or abandoned by a friend.
I specialise in working with you so you can discover the underlying causes that may be holding you back so you can find clarity, confidence, and calm again. I bring compassion and kindness, and I help you feel heard, understood and validated.

All of these problems arise because trauma triggers your survival mechanisms. When your nervous system feels safe again, all these problems can be resolved.
The Havening Techniques provide a safe haven in the body and has the potential to remove the encoded trauma that keeps being re-triggered and ultimately keeping you stuck.
Based on Scientific Breakthrough
The work is based on a scientific breakthrough by a doctor called Ronald Ruden, MD. He discovered exactly how trauma is stored in the brain – all the way down to the molecular reactions inside the nerve cells – and how to quickly reverse that mechanism.
Ronald Ruden, MD along with his twin-brother Dr Steven Ruden are both founders of The Havening Techniques®, a modality that can remove trauma and also build resilience.
